Class Coming Soon

We are extremely proud to hold an additional needs class at the club which is aimed at children with physical or psychological health impairments. This class is semi structured in nature and has both taught and non- taught components. We would encourage all participants to engage with the coach led components of the session, however this is not mandatory. Participants are also eligible for any rest periods when they require it, but a non participant must inform a coach.

All non- participants i.e. parents/ guardians/ carers are required to supervise and assist each participant one hundred percent of the time with no exceptions. We also politely and coherently ask that you inform the coaches of any equipment or aid that is required for a participant. Any noncompliance with this may result in serious injury to anyone within the session. If there are any home/ school techniques that help with the quality of life of a participant it would be crucial to also highlight this to a coach as it will allow us to deliver our expertise in a more beneficial manner.

We ask that etiquette and manners are still maintained in this class by being respectful and mindful of everyone involved within the class. If a parent/ guardian/ carer would like to discuss the possibility of progressing or regressing a given station, let a coach hear your voice. From this, discussions can arise which will allow the coaches to provide suitable stations for each participant’s skill and confidence level.
